Oil cooler for all types of engine oil, differential oil, transmission oil, and other gear oils.

An oil cooler is a must on a tuned engine/drivetrain. Higher power output and load, or aggressive driving, increases heat generation and raises oil temperatures.

Examples include drifting, circuit racing, and rally where oil coolers are essential due to high load and oil temperature.

Oil hose size

There is no universal answer for hose and fitting size. If you're unsure, start with AN8 which is most common. Factors affecting this include the components in series with the cooler, such as:

In the end, it's about avoiding a large pressure drop between inlet and outlet of the engine/drivetrain. Measure this before and after installation to be sure.
